Concealed Weapons Class
Our Concealed Weapons Class is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to carry a firearm responsibly in Florida.
What You’ll Learn
- Florida Statute 790:
- Where you can and cannot carry a firearm.
- What concealment means and how to ensure your firearm remains concealed.
- Florida Statute 776:
- Guidelines for the lawful use of deadly force.
- Firearm Techniques:
- Grip
- Stance
- Trigger control
- Sight alignment
Prerequisites
- You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in this class.
Course Completion
- Live-Fire Exercise:
- Students will shoot a series of rounds from 15 feet into a 9-inch target.
- Feedback will be provided to help you improve your technique.
- Certificate of Completion:
- Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a certificate to apply for your Concealed Weapons Permit.
- Additional Practice:
- If you don’t pass, you’ll receive credit to retake the class, including range time. (No refunds available.)

Class Details:
- Class Size: Limited to 20 students—sign up early to secure your spot!
- Cost:

- Payment must be received no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled class.
Important Notes:
- No live ammunition is allowed in the classroom.
- All targets are shot at 15 feet into a 9-inch circle.
